To read an AquaChek test strip, first dip the strip into your pool or spa water and remove it immediately. Hold the strip horizontally for about 15 seconds without shaking off excess water. Then, compare the color changes on the strip to the corresponding color chart on the AquaChek bottle to determine the chemical levels in your water.
