To check if a circulation pump is working, listen for a humming sound or slight vibration when it is switched on, which indicates the motor is running. You can also feel the pipes before and after the pump; if the temperature changes after running for a few minutes, the pump is likely circulating fluid. You should also see the water in the spa moving gently if the pump is running.
